Joined ISRO in 1971 and worked in SLV Project at VSSC, Trivandrum and then shifted to SDSC SHAR in 1973 to work in the areas of Range Safety and Launch Facilities.
Actively involved in formulating the safety philosophy, policies, standards for SHAR Range and worked as Safety engineer for conducting launch operations in the safe manner for all SLV flights.
As Deputy Project Director, PSLV launch complex evolved the concepts, configuration and engineering, responsible for design, development and establishing the launch complex for PSLV launch. Specialised in the areas of Earth Storable and Gas Servicing Systems realisation and directed the group for successful conductance of launch operations for all PSLV flights till date.
As Deputy Project Director, GSLV segment at SDSC SHAR, designed and realised the launch complex systems including establishment of Cryo Stage Servicing Systems. Responsible for conductance of launch operations in propellant and Gas servicing areas for all GSLV flights.
As Project Director, Second Launch Pad conceived state-of-the-art launch complex, which can cater to launch of all current launch vehicles of ISRO as also that of advanced vehicles such as GSLV MK-III and beyond. Realised SLP with several new technologies by establishing a close partnership between ISRO and industries.
Currently holding designation of Associate Director, SDSC SHAR and responsible for execution of all projects including GSLV MK-III segment. |
