Astronautical Society of India with major sponsorship from ISRO will be organising the 58th International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2007) during September 23rd-28th 2007 at Hyderabad, India. The 58th IAC is a prestigious international space event. It will be attended by about 1500-2000 Space Scientists/ Technologists/Professionals from all over the world apart from a large number of Indian delegates. The Congress will focus on a special theme through special plenaries. Around 28 parallel technical topics will be discussed. The IAF, the IAA & IISL will be the major participants during the symposium.

This conference is an annual event and is coming back to India after a span of 22 years. The "WHO IS WHO" in the space industry globally will be participating in this mega event which will be  held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre near Hi-tech city, Cyberabad, Hyderabad. This  58th International Astronautical Congress is having a theme of "Humanity - Space for improving the quality of life".  Additionally, with this theme a space exhibition in also being organised. The responsibility of organising this exhibition has been given to M/s MM ACTIV. A special website is being created for hosting this event www.iac2007.org.in
