ISRO/ASI Sponsors Students to participate in 
 61st IAC at Prague, Czech Republic 

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS),
Government of India, jointly with Astronautical Society of India( ASI), intend
to sponsor a few students to participate in 61st International Astronautical
Congress (61st IAC) to be held in Prague, Czech Republic during September
27 to October 1, 2010.  This annual global space event is organized by
International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and Czech Space Office with
a theme "Space for Humman benefits and exploration".

Students meeting the following two major criteria (both) are eligible for
consideration of this sponsorship:

(i) Whose paper (as first author) is accepted for presentation in the 61st IAC.
(ii) Who has not been sponsored by ISRO/ASI for this purpose on earlier
occasion.

Eligible students may submit the application in the prescribed format placed
below before June 21, 2010 for consideration.  The application with the above
details must reach the Scientific Secretary, ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh
Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalaore - 560 094; email: scientificsecretary@isro.gov.in;
Fax: 080-2341 5298 by post/email/fax before 1700 hrs on June 21, 2010 (Monday).

The sponsorship includes to and fro excursion fare air ticket, shared accommodation
and living expenses as per the norms.  The sponsorship does not include
expenditure pertaining to obtaining passport, visa and travel/medical insurance.

The selected students will be individually intimated by email.
